OPERATIONS

"WE'LL BE THERE WHEN YOUR SHIP COMES IN"

Terminal Operations

Our  operations capabilities are second to none.  We've been involved in terminal operations in Europe and Asia, as well as both South and North America.  In addition, we have numerous terminal affiliations throughout the United States, with emphasis along the Gulf Coast, Caribbean, and Venezuela.  Many of the facilities we have conceived, designed, and built, receive comments from maintenance and operating personnel similar to " you can tell this terminal was built by an Operator, because everything is easy to operate and maintain".

Midstreaming Operations

In addition to our land based terminal operations, we also provide midstream loading and unloading services via a fleet of floating derricks.  In this mode we use large floating derricks to perform the unloading or loading service.  This minimizes the need for shore-based capital expenditures, is self-contained, and remains highly mobile as the equipment is barge mounted. In direct barge transfers, there is no need for a dock or quay as the service can be provided directly to barge with the vessel tied to a mooring buoy.   The equipment can be used in duty cycle bucket or hook work as needed.  Our current fleet can swing buckets ranging in volume from 5 cubic yards all the way up to 22 cubic yards.

Operation in this mode with the coordination of several customers, allows the capital cost of the equipment to be spread among several clients so that no one customer bears the entire cost alone.  Obviously this helps our clients keep their costs down by providing higher volumetric rates at considerably lower cost than they could provide on their own.
